How to Create a Schedule Item

Daysync allows you to add schedule items to organize daily activities within your tour calendar. By creating schedule items, you can define event titles, locations, and event times to ensure your team clearly understands the planned activities.

Follow the steps below to create a new schedule item.


Step 1: Tap on the dropdown menu at the top.


Step 2: Select the tour you want to manage.


Step 3: Tap on the day for which you want to create the schedule item.


Step 4: The schedule page for the selected day will open.


Step 5: Tap on the Create Item button to add a new schedule item.


Step 6: After tapping Create Item, the New Schedule Item form will open.


Step 7: Enter the title of the schedule item (e.g., Bus Call, Sound Check).


Step 8: Enable or disable the All-day option if needed.


Step 9: Set the start time.


Step 10: Toggle Has end time if required.

  • If enabled, the end time field will appear.

  • If disabled, the end time field will be hidden.


Step 11: Enter the end time (if applicable).


Step 12: Select the time zone.


Step 13: Choose the status from the Mark item as dropdown (e.g., Unconfirmed, Confirmed, No Status).


Step 14: Add notes if required.


Step 15: Enable Notify tour members to send updates.


Step 16: Add a location by searching or selecting a place.


Step 17: Add a reminder from the available options.


Step 18: Manage visibility and select the appropriate option (e.g., Everyone, Specific people, Admins only).

Step 19: Add any attachments if needed.


Step 20: Tap Add Schedule Item to save the schedule item.


Step 21: A success message will appear confirming that the schedule item has been created.

Verify the Schedule Item in the Calendar

After saving the schedule item, you will return to the Schedule section for the selected day. Confirm that the newly created event appears in the list with the title and time duration. The item will be displayed under the selected date. If needed, tap on the item to view, edit, or update its details.
