How to Edit or Delete Schedule Items

Daysync allows you to manage your tour schedule by editing existing events or deleting items that are no longer needed. Keeping your schedule updated ensures that all team members have accurate information about upcoming activities.

This guide explains how to edit schedule details and delete schedule items from your calendar.


Edit a Schedule Item

Follow these steps to update the details of an existing schedule item.


Step 1: Click the schedule item you want to modify directly from the calendar. This will open the item's detail view.



Step 2: Edit the Title of the schedule item if you want to update the event name.


Step 3: Update the Start Time and End Time of the event. You can also enable All-day if the event lasts the entire day or select No end time if the event does not have a fixed end time. If required, you can also change the timezone by selecting the timezone field and choosing the appropriate location.


Step 4: If you want to inform team members about the changes, enable the Notify members toggle. This will send a notification to members who have visibility of the item.


Step 5: Set the event status by selecting one of the available options from dropdown menu:

  • This item is confirmed

  • This item is unconfirmed

  • This item has no status



Step 6: Add or update the Location by selecting Add location and entering the event location.


Step 7: Add additional details in the Notes section if required.


Step 8: Choose who can view the item by selecting the sharing option, such as:

  • Shared with everyone on the tour

  • Shared with specific people

  • Shared with admins only



Step 9: Set a Reminder for the event by selecting a time option such as At start time of event, 5 minutes before, 10 minutes before, or another available reminder option.


Step 10: Upload any relevant files or documents by clicking Browse Files or by dragging and dropping files into the upload area.


Step 11: Click anywhere on the calendar canvas to save your changes and update the schedule item.


Step 12: After saving the changes, a confirmation notification will appear at the top of the screen indicating that the item has been updated successfully.




Delete a Schedule Item

Follow these steps to permanently remove a schedule item from your calendar.


Step 1: Click the schedule item you want to delete to open its detail view.


Step 2: Click the options menu (usually represented by a three-dot (...) icon) to open the available actions.


Step 3: Select Delete from the menu.


Step 4: A confirmation prompt will appear. Click Delete again to confirm and permanently remove the schedule item.


Result

After completing these steps, the schedule item will either be updated with the new changes or permanently removed from the calendar, helping you keep your tour schedule accurate and organized.
