Faster Ways to Work with the Schedule

Right-click menus, keyboard shortcuts, paste and undo.

Building a schedule every day? These shortcuts save a lot of clicks on the web and desktop apps.

Switch views

At the top of the Schedule tab, choose how you see the day:

  • Calendar: a timeline of the day. Best for spotting gaps and clashes.

  • Day sheet: a clean running order. This is also where Download lives.

  • Table: a sortable list with Event Name, Start Time, End Time, Duration, Tags and Visibility columns.

Use the Search box next to the views to find an item on the day.

Right-click an empty spot

Right-click an empty part of the timeline to:

  • New item (N): create an item at that time.

  • Paste item: paste what you copied or cut, starting at the time you clicked. It keeps the original length.

  • AI Import (⌘ I): build items from a document or text.

Undo

After you paste, duplicate or delete, a message appears at the bottom right with Undo (⌘ Z). Use it straight away if something lands in the wrong place.

More time-savers

  • Templates: save a typical show day and apply it anywhere. ⌘ B browses templates and ⌘ S saves the current day.

  • Confirm all schedule items: in More actions (the three dots), confirm a whole day in one go.

  • Copy schedule as plain text: also in More actions. Great for pasting into an email or message.
