Most show days look the same: load-in, soundcheck, catering, doors, set. Save a day once as a template, then apply it to every other show day in seconds.
Save a day as a template
Open the day you want to reuse.
On the Schedule tab, click Templates, then Save as new template (⌘ S on a Mac).
Give it a Template name.
Under Select items, untick anything you don't want in the template. Deselect All clears everything.
Under Include extra data, choose what to keep: - Keep visibility: keeps each item's visibility settings. If off, items become visible to everyone. - Keep notes: keeps the items' notes. - Keep attachments: copies attached files too. This can make templates slower to load.
Click Create New Template.
Apply a template to a day
Open the day you want to fill.
Click Templates. Recently used templates are listed at the top. Click one, or choose Browse all templates (⌘ B).
Choose how to apply it: - Merge template: adds the template's items to what's already on the day. - Replace schedule with template: overwrites the day's current schedule.
Click Apply Template.
You'll see "Template name applied" with an Undo button, in case you picked the wrong day.
Items keep their clock times (a 3:00 PM soundcheck lands at 3:00 PM) in the time zone of the day you apply it to.
Rename or delete a template
Click Templates › Browse all templates.
Hover over a template and use the pencil (Rename) or trash (Delete) button.
Tips
Set the day's location first. Times follow the day's time zone, so set the location before applying a template.
Use Replace carefully. It removes what's already on the day.
Keep visibility on if your template includes private items, like artist calls. Turning it off makes everything public.
