Every show day can have a venue, and some days have more than one. Venues hold the address, contacts, and details your crew needs, like load-in, curfew and power.
Add a venue to a day
Select the day in the Dates list and open the Venue tab.
Click Add Venue.
Choose Commercial Venue to search public venues, or Private Venue for places that aren't listed, like a rehearsal room or a private home.
Search for the venue and pick it.
Tick Use this venue as the day's location if the day's location should change to this address.
Click Add Venue.
Tip: when you create a tour, ticking Use this location as the day's venue adds the venue for you.
What's in a venue
Click a venue to open it. Daysync fills in the photo, address, phone, email and website for public venues.
Confirmed / Unconfirmed: the toggle at the top shows whether the venue is locked in.
Open in Google Maps: directions in one click.
Add notes and Add attachment for things like stage plots or advance sheets.
Drive to stays: drive time and distance to the day's hotels.
Visibility:Manage who can see the venue.
Add venue information
Next to Venue information, click Add.
Pick a field: Venue type, Capacity, Age restriction, Load-in, Parking, Doors, Curfew, Stage dimensions, Power, House PA, Wi-Fi or Guarantee / fee. Or choose Create custom field.
Enter the details and click Save.
Add key contacts
Key contacts are the people your team will need on the day, like the promoter rep or production manager.
Next to Key contacts, click Add.
Search for an existing contact, or click + Add to create one.
Enter their name, role, company and city, plus email, phone and URL.
Click Save, then Save again in Manage Key Contacts.
Contacts appear on the venue with a quick email button.
Use Manage next to General contacts to edit the venue's own phone, email and website.
Edit or remove a venue
On the Venue tab, click the three dots next to a venue and choose Edit Venue or Delete Venue.
Tips
Check the venue type. Daysync suggests one automatically, and it isn't always right.
Limit sensitive details. Use Manage to hide things like the guarantee from people who don't need them.
