How to Add a Venue to a Show Day

You can assign a venue to each show day in Daysync so your team can easily see where events are taking place. Adding a venue helps keep tour logistics organized by storing important location details such as the venue name, capacity, event restrictions, and venue type. You can search for existing venues or create a private venue if the location is not available in the search results.

Follow the steps below to add and configure a venue for a show day:

How to Add a Venue

Step 1: Tap on the dropdown menu at the top.

Step 2: Select the tour you want to manage.

Step 3: Tap on the day for which you want to add venue details.

Step 4: Navigate to the Venue section.

Step 5: Tap Add Venue to add the venue for the selected day.

Step 6: After tapping Add Venue, add venue page will open.

Step 7: On this page, select the venue type:

  • Commercial Venue: Choose this if the venue is a public or listed location (e.g., concert halls, clubs, arenas).

  • Private Venue: Choose this if the venue is a private or custom location (e.g., private events, studios, or non-public spaces)

Step 8: Tap on the Venue Search field.

Step 9: Enter the venue name in the search field

Step 10: Enter the venue title.

Step 11: Tap on the Mark as field.

Step 12: Select the appropriate status from the dropdown menu.

Step 13: Tap on the Venue Type field.

Step 14: Select the appropriate venue type from the list.

Step 15: Enter the venue capacity.

Step 16: Tap on the Age Restriction field.

Step 17: Select the appropriate age restriction for the venue from the dropdown.

Step 18: Enter general notes for the venue in the provided field.

Step 19: Toggle Notify Members to notify the team about the update.

Step 20: In the Visibility section, click Manage.

Step 21: Select the desired visibility option.

Step 22: Click Done to save your selection.

Step 23: A confirmation message will appear, indicating that the visibility has been successfully updated.

Step 24: Click Add to upload attachments.

Step 25: Click Add Venue to save the venue details.

Step 26: A confirmation message will appear, indicating that the venue has been successfully added.
