You can update venue details in Daysync to ensure your team has accurate information for each show, including location, capacity, notes, and contacts.
Follow these steps to edit venue details:
Step 1: From the dashboard, select your tour from the left-side panel.
Step 2: Click the Venue tab from the top navigation bar.
Step 3: Click the three-dot (⋯) menu next to the selected venue.
Step 4: From the dropdown menu, select Edit Venue.
Step 5: After selecting Edit Venue, the Edit Venue window will open.
Step 6: Select the venue type:
Commercial Venue: Choose this if the venue is a public or listed location (e.g., concert halls, clubs, arenas).
Private Venue: Choose this if the venue is a private or custom location (e.g., private events, studios, non-public spaces).
Step 7: In the Venue field, search and select the correct address or location.
Step 8: (Optional) Enable Use this venue as the day's location if you want this venue to automatically set the location for that specific day.
Step 9: (Optional) Enable Notify members to inform your team about the updates.
Step 10: Click Save Venue to apply the changes.
Step 11: After clicking Save Venue, a success message will appear confirming that the venue has been updated (e.g., “Venue updated”).
Verify Venue Updates
After saving, review the updated details in the Venue section to ensure all information is correct and up to date.

Add Key Contacts (e.g., promoter, venue manager) to keep important information accessible for your team.
Double-check the venue address to ensure accurate navigation links.
Use the Notes section for backstage instructions or important event details.
If the venue is used across multiple shows, verify that updates are reflected wherever applicable.
