You can update venue details in Daysync to ensure your team has accurate information for each show, including location, capacity, notes, and contacts.
Follow these steps to edit venue details:
Step 1: Tap on the dropdown menu at the top.
Step 2: Select the tour you want to manage.
Step 3: Tap on the day for which you want to edit venue details.
Step 4: Navigate to the Venue section.
Step 5: Tap on the three-dot (⋯) icon on the selected venue.
Step 6: Select the Edit option from the more options.
Step 7: The Edit Venue page will open.
Step 8: Select the venue type:
Commercial Venue: Choose this if the venue is a public or listed location (e.g., concert halls, clubs, arenas).
Private Venue: Choose this if the venue is a private or custom location (e.g., private events, studios, or non-public spaces).
Step 9: Tap on the Venue search field.
Step 10: The Venue Search page will open. Search for the venue you want to select by entering the name.
Step 11: From the search results, tap on the desired venue to select it.
Step 12: Enter or update the Venue title.
Step 13: Tap on the Mark as field.
Step 14: Select the appropriate status (Confirmed, Unconfirmed, or No Status).
Step 15: Tap on the Venue type field.
Step 16: Select the appropriate venue type from the list (e.g., Auditorium, Arena, Ballroom, Bar, etc.).
Step 17: Tap on the Age restriction field.
Step 18: Select the appropriate age restriction (e.g., All Ages, 16+, 18+, or 21+).
Step 19: Enter any additional details in the General notes field (optional).
Step 20: Toggle Notify tour members if you want to send an update notification to your team.
Step 21: To manage visibility, tap on the Manage button in the Visibility section.
Step 22: The Manage Visibility page will open. Select the appropriate option:
Everyone: Visible to everyone on the tour
Specific people: Visible only to selected users
Admins only: Visible only to owners, admins, and editors
Step 23: Tap on the Done button to confirm your selection.
Step 24: Tap on Save Changes to apply all updates.
Step 25: A confirmation message will appear indicating that the venue details have been updated successfully.
Verify Venue Updates
After saving, review the updated details in the Venue section to ensure all information is correct and up to date.
Tips
Add Key Contacts (e.g., promoter, venue manager) to keep important information accessible for your team.
Double-check the venue address to ensure accurate navigation links.
Use the Notes section for backstage instructions or important event details.
If the venue is used across multiple shows, verify that updates are reflected wherever applicable.
