Bulletins are the noticeboard for each day of your tour. Use them for things everyone needs to read but nobody needs a chat thread about: bus call changes, laundry, parking, the Wi-Fi password. Unlike chat, bulletins don't scroll away, and you can see how many people have read each one.
Bulletins belong to a day. Each day on your tour has its own Bulletin Board, so post on the day the information is about.
Open the Bulletin Board
Open your tour.
Select the day in the Dates list on the left.
Click the Bulletin tab at the top of the page.
You'll see two views: Bulletin Board (everything that's been posted) and Scheduled (announcements waiting to go out).
Post an announcement
Click New Announcement.
Enter a Title (up to 150 characters).
Write the Body. Use the toolbar for bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, links, bulleted lists and numbered lists. There's no length limit, so long load-in notes are fine.
Optional: tick Pin announcement to keep it at the top of the board.
Optional: tick Notify Everyone to send a push notification to all members.
Click Publish Now.
You'll see Announcement created successfully.
Tip: Web addresses become clickable links once you type a space or more text after them. If a link sits at the very end of your message, select it and use the Insert link button instead.
Schedule an announcement for later
Want the reminder to land at the right moment, like an hour before lobby call?
Fill in the announcement as above.
Click Schedule.
Choose a Date and Time (in 15-minute steps). The time zone is shown at the top of the window. It's your own time zone, not necessarily the time zone of the show day, so double-check it.
Click Save. The button at the bottom changes to Schedule for later.
Click Schedule for later.
Scheduled announcements wait in the Scheduled view until their time. Click Post now on one to publish it straight away. To cancel the schedule while you're still writing, click Schedule again and choose Remove Scheduling.
Read a bulletin
Pinned announcements sit in a Pinned section at the top. Each announcement shows who posted it and when. The Viewed by count in the corner tells you how many people have seen it, so you know who still needs a nudge.
Edit, pin, copy or delete
Click the three dots on an announcement to:
Edit announcement
Pin announcement or Unpin announcement
Copy text
Delete announcement
When you edit, you can tick Re-notify everyone to send the push notification again, then click Publish Changes. Edited announcements are labeled (edited) so people know the text has changed since they last read it.
Tips
Pin anything that stays relevant all day, like the day's contacts or parking details.
Use Notify Everyone for changes people must act on. For general info, leave it off so phones stay quiet.
Scheduling is great for "lobby call in 30 minutes" style reminders. Write them in the morning, and they'll arrive on time.
